In a medical emergency, or if you are in a situation that’s unsafe, on or off campus, do not wait—call for help immediately.

Nursing Advice After Hours

  • For nursing advice after hours 和 weekends, call 413-585-2800 (Option 1). The answering service will take your message 和 have a nurse call you promptly.
  • Be sure to have your phone with you, charged 和 ready to receive a callback from the nurse.
  • If you do not receive a call within 45 minutes, please call back again, 或者如果需要的话, go to 紧急的 care or the emergency room via 校园安全. You may reach 校园安全 from a campus phone at extension 5555, or dial 413-585-5555.

Medical 紧急情况 On Campus

  • In an immediate, life-threatening situation: Call 911 or 校园安全
    • In the event of an on campus emergency call 413-585-2490 to reach 校园安全 or 911 for Northampton Public Safety.
    • Stay on the line until otherwise directed.
  • For 紧急的 matters, notify 校园安全 at extension 5555 from a campus phone; or call 413-585-5555. Consult with either 校园安全 or the Schacht Center before calling an ambulance, except during immediate life-threatening emergencies.

Medical 紧急情况 Off Campus

In the case of a serious accident or emergency, seek immediate care by dialing 911.

Please ask the facility to contact one or more of the following before you are discharged, so that we may provide prompt 和 appropriate follow up upon your return to campus.
